The honest version
James has spent more than twenty years in the window and door trade. Wortley Windows & Doors is the company he runs around one idea: measure it properly, quote it honestly, fit it right, and leave the place tidy. Wortley Windows & Doors was registered in 2021 – the trade experience behind it goes back a lot further.
Our own team, our own jobs
We don't use subcontractors. James leads a small team of our own skilled fitters – the lads who measure up are the lads who stand behind the work. Every job carries our 10-year guarantee. We're CERTASS certified (registration 19-1239), so your installation is registered and self-certified to Building Regulations.
No showroom, no sales patter
You won't find a showroom or a salesman here. You'll find a small team based in Lower Wortley that works across Leeds, quotes honestly, and would rather lose a job than push you into one.

Where we work from, and where we go
We work from Lower Wortley and fit windows and doors across the whole of Leeds. We're local fitters, not a national outfit – this is our patch, we live where we work, and we're still around long after the job's done. If you're wondering whether we cover your street, check the areas we cover, or just ring and ask.
CERTASS, and what it means for your paperwork
CERTASS is a government-authorised Competent Person Scheme, and every installation we fit is registered and self-certified to Building Regulations under it. Your certificate is registered with the local authority automatically and carries the same legal standing as one from any other government-authorised scheme, so the paperwork side is handled for you. How that sits alongside our 10-year guarantee is explained on the guarantee page.
See the work, then decide
The quickest way to judge us is to look at the work. Have a browse through recent jobs we've fitted around Leeds, then read what customers say on our reviews page – their words, not ours. If you like what you see, ask for a free quote and we'll come and have a look. No pressure either way.
